We tend to get worried seeing small changes on our nails. Here is a list of nails changes which are very normal to happen and in no way indicative of any underlying disease.

White rising moon: Seen at the beginning of nail is not an indication of calcium deficiency as is commonly believed. It’s appears due to trapping of air between nail bed and the nail plate.
- Longitudinal striations: Are again normal to have if they look like something as shown in the picture below. Only extremely excessive striations when nail looks almost worn are indicative of some underlying disease.
